Machine Basement:
The machine basement is of electro welded and stress relieved steel. Along the basement moves the mobile carriage consisting of the electro-spindle and the tool store. This structure guarantees an optimum stability when machining. The machine basement is manufactured in 3 standard lengths; 4.0 M, 6.7 M or 9.0 M. The machine operation can be divided in two working zones allowing the operator to load/un-load in one zone whilst the machine is profiling in the other.
Mobile Carriage:
The mobile carriage can be equipped with a 3, 4 or 5-axis head. The electro spindle is programmable between 200 and 24,000 rpm.
The positioning speed of the mobile carriage is max. 80M/min. The rotating tool store, holding max. 20 clamp cones (HSK F63), is fixed to the mobile carriage to ensure a minimum downtime when automatic tool change. Zero points, vertical retractable, allows easy machining of the ends of the profile. Pneumatic clamps are locking different shape profiles in position. The clamps can be shifted manual or automatic. An emergency rod covers the whole length at the front of the machine.
